Why be vegetarian? One a quarter billion population will have a unique answer based on their know-how.

A vegetarian man is very healthy man; he eats a lot of fruits and nuts. It’s not about being financial just practicing self-awareness no meat, no beef and no pork is a way to go, though occasionally he might fail, but mostly he sticks to his grains. He is happy, kind, open-hearted and most importantly he is really together.

Initially you may find it overwhelming as changing eating habits requires discipline and most importantly a valid reason for you to sustain in the long run. Here are some interesting facts which tell you more about why you should aspire to be a vegetarian.

BE KIND TO YOURSELF

You are what you eat, every 35 days your skin replaces itself. Your liver about a month. Your body makes these new cells from the food you eat. What you eat is literally becomes you. But the best part is you always have an option to choose. Various researches have also proved that eat vegetarian food promotes happy and healthy heart, control obesity, lower hypertension and the list goes on and on…

BE KIND TO THE ANIMALS

Picking an apple doesn’t kill the tree…you can’t say the same thing about eating animals, no matter how much little meat you eat the animal dies. More than 6 million animals are killed for food every hour. Just like human beings animals feel all the emotions from pain to joy they don’t want to die. Farmed animals are only allowed to live a fraction of their lives.

BE KIND TO THE PLANET

People need to realize that we cannot continue to consume the earth resources at the current rate as it will result in no hope for future generations. If everyone become vegetarian by 2050 food related emissions would drop by 70%. There is more than enough food to feed the entire world’s population.

AND FINALLY EASE YOURSELF IN.

I would recommend not going cold turkey. Small habits repeated daily can go a long way for example; Start with one meal a day then full one week. As it’s easier to sustain don’t make it too hard on yourself.
